【摘要】:ThispartofISO5815specifiesadeterminationofthebiochemicaloxygendemandofwatersbydilutionandseedingwithsuppressionofnitrification.ThispartofISO5815isapplicabletoallwatershavingbiochemicaloxygendemandsgreaterthanorequalto3mg/lofoxygen(thelimitofdetermination)andnotexceeding6000mg/lofoxygen.Forbiochemicaloxygendemandsgreaterthan6000mg/lofoxygen,themethodisstillapplicable,buttheerrorscausedbythenecessarydilutionscaninfluencetheanalyticalqualityofthetestmethodandtheresultsaretobeinterpretedwithcircumspection.Theresultsobtainedaretheproductofacombinationofbiochemicalandchemicalreactions.Theydonothavetherigorousandunambiguouscharacterofthoseresultingfrom,forexample,asingle,well-defined,chemicalprocess.Nevertheless,theyprovideanindicationfromwhichthequalityofwaterscanbeestimated.Thetestcanbeinfluencedbythepresenceofvarioussubstances.Thosewhicharetoxictomicroorganisms,forexamplebactericides,toxicmetalsorfreechlorine,willinhibitbiochemicaloxidation.Thepresenceofalgaeornitrifyingmicroorganismscanproduceartificiallyhighresults.AnnexAdescribesalternativeincubationperiods.AnnexBdescribesmultitesting,whichcanbeusedtoobtainenhancedprecisionortodemonstratethepresenceofsubstancestoxictomicroorganisms.AnnexCprovidesprecisiondata.
