【摘要】:Thisstandardestablishesdesignrequirements,basicperformancerequirementsandtestproceduresforhoseconnectionbackflowpreventers.Thisdeviceisdesignedtobeinstalledonthedischargesideofahosethreadedoutletonapotablewatersystem.Thistwo-checkdeviceprotectsagainstbackflow,duetobacksiphonageorlow-headbackpressure,andisfieldtestabletocertifyprotectionunderthehighhazardconditionspresentatahosethreadedoutlet.Thisdeviceshallonlybeusedonsystemswherethelow-headbackpressuredoesnotexceedthatgeneratedbyanelevatedhoseequaltoorlessthan10feet(3.0m)inheight.Thesedevicesshallnotbesubjectedtocontinuouswaterpressure.
