【摘要】:Theenergyinputratetestisusedtoconfirmthatthebuffet/preparationtableisoperatingproperlypriortofurthertesting.Lidupenergyrateisapreciseindicatorofbuffet/preparationtableenergyperformanceunderthetestloadingcondition.Liddownenergyrateisapreciseindicatorofbuffet/preparationtableenergyperformanceunderasimulatedovernightoperatingcondition.Thisinformationenablesthefoodserviceoperatortoconsiderenergyperformancewhenselectingabuffet/preparationtable.Productioncapacityisusedbyfoodserviceoperatorstochooseabuffet/preparationtablethatmatchestheirfoodoutputrequirements.1.1Thistestmethodcoversevaluationoftheenergyconsumptionandrefrigerationperformanceofrefrigeratedbuffetandpreparationtables.Thefoodserviceoperatorcanusethisevaluationtoselectarefrigeratedbuffetandpreparationtableandunderstanditsenergyperformance.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletoelectricself-containedrefrigeratorsusedforholdinganddisplayingrefrigeratedfoodinanopenarea.1.3Therefrigeratedbuffetandpreparationtablecanbeevaluatedwithrespecttothefollowing(whereapplicable):1.3.1Maximumenergyinputrate,ormaximumcurrentdraw(10.1),1.3.2Thermostatcalibration(10.4),1.3.3Lidupenergyrateandtemperatureperformance(10.5),and1.3.4Liddownenergyrate(10.6).1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.TheSIunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
