【摘要】:Note18212;ThemajorityofthisstandardisbasedontheModelBuildingCodeEvaluationServiceAcceptanceCriteriatitledACCEPTANCECRITERIAFORGREASEDUCTENCLOSUREASSEMBLIES,AC101,whichwascreatedin1994.Numerousdesignlistingsandlabeledmaterialsexistbasedontheprovisionsofthisstandard.1.1Thesetestmethodsevaluatetheenclosurematerialsandthegreaseductenclosuresystemsusingthefollowingtestmethods:noncombustibility,fireresistance,durability,internalfire,andfire-engulfmentwithathrough-penetrationfirestop.1.2Thesetestmethodsprescribeastandardizedfireexposureforcomparingthetestresultsoftheenclosurematerialsandgreaseductenclosuresystems.Theresultsofthesetestsareonefactorinassessingpredictedfireperformanceofgreaseductenclosuresystems.Usingthesetestresultstopredicttheperformanceofactualgreaseductenclosuresystemsrequirestheevaluationoftestconditions.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheSIvaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thetextofthesetestmethodsreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthefiretestresponsestandard.1.5Thesetestmethodsareusedtomeasureanddescribetheresponseofmaterials,products,orassembliestoheatandflameundercontrolledconditions,butdoesnotbyitselfincorporateallfactorsrequiredforfirehazardorfireriskassessmentofthematerials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.1.6Thesetestmethodsdonotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthesetestmethodstoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
