【摘要】:ThispartofISO8130isoneofaseriesofstandardsdealingwiththesamplingandtestingofpaints,varnishesandrelatedproducts.Itspecifiesamethodforthedeterminationofthetendencyforthemixingoftwodifferentcoatingpowderstoresultinthedeteriorationofthesurfacequalityofthefinalcoating.Theresultsdependonthefollowingcharacteristicsofthecoatingpowders:a)theirchemicalreactivity;b)theirchemicalcomposition;c)theirmeltproperties.Theonsetofthedeteriorationinappearance,itsnatureanditsextentwilldependgreatlyontheratioinwhichthepowdersaremixed.Thetestisusefulinpredictingthepossibilityofincompatibilityarisingfrommixingdifferentpowdersbothduringthemanufacturingprocessandduringtheapplicationofthecoatingpowder.Thenatureofthedeteriorationinsurfaceappearancemaymanifestitselfinvariousways,including:—changeinglosslevel;—thepresenceofpinholes,includingmicro-pinholes;—theappearanceoforangepeel;—thepresenceofcraters;—thepresenceofbittiness(graininess);—thepresenceofcolourcontamination.NOTEDeteriorationinmechanicalpropertiesmayalsobeexperienced.However,thispartofISO8130isonlyconcernedwithchangesinappearance.
