【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesanacceleratedageing/conditioningprocedureforbitumen,bituminousbindersandbituminousmastics.Theprocedureinvolvesrotatingcylinderageing(RCA),i.ebinderageingatmoderatetemperaturesinalargecylinderrotatinginanovenunderoxygenflowconditions.Priortolong-termageingwiththismethod,samplesarepreparedintheconditiontheywouldbeappliedtotheroad.Thismethodisalsoapplicabletomodifiedbindersandbituminousmastics.NOTEForbindersusedinhotasphaltapplicationspre-conditioningofthesamplewouldtypicallybebyoneofthemethodsgiveninEN12607-1orEN12607-2ordirectlyintheRCATcylindertoanequivalentageinglevel.Forbindersusedinbituminousemulsionandcut-backapplication,stabilisingthesamplewouldtypicallybebymethodsgiveninEN14895.Forbituminousemulsion,stabilisingthesamplecanalsoberealiseddirectlyintheRCATcylinderunderanitrogenflow(quantity-temperature-timehavestilltobeexperienced).WARNING—Useofthisdocumentcaninvolvehazardousmaterials,operationsandequipment,inparticular,theuseofaflowofoxygenasageingatmosphere.Thisdocumentdoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblemsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisdocumenttoestablishappropriatehealthandsafetypracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Ifthereisalikelihoodthatmorethan1%massfractioninabinderofvolatilecomponentsispresent,thisproceduremustnotbeused.
